Q: Is Lipodissolve the same as Mesotherapy?

A: No. Lipodissolve is injected into the subcutaneous tissue (fat) using only PHOSPHATIDYLCHOLINE (PPC). Mesotherapy  can make use of over 200 different compounds. These  are injected into the skin, not the fat.

Q: Is it safe?

A: Yes. In over 18,000 treatments no unexpected side effects were noted.

Q: What are the expected side effects?

A: Discomfort, swelling, itching, bruising, and sensitivity-to-touch can occur but are well tolerated and last usually less than one week.

Q: Does the treatment hurt?

A: The area is ’numbed‘ first with a topical anesthetic cream. Most patients admit to only slight  discomfort and willingly return for further treatments.

Q: How many treatments are needed?

A: Two to four treatments may be required. The amount of fat to be dissolved determines the number of treatments needed.

Q: Who is a good candidate?

A: Healthy people age 18-75 who have fat deposits that persist despite diet and exercise.

Q: Will everyone benefit?

A: Overwhelmingly the majority of patients treated will respond, however 2-3% may not.
