Micropigmentation or permanent make up is a technique that allows the correction of thin or nonexistent eyebrows, uneven lip contour, or eyes that “fade into the background”. With this method natural pigments are microinserted into the dermal layer of the skin, thus allowing permanent cosmetic enhancements of eyebrows, eyes (liner), and lips (liner/color). Because this is performed in a physician’s office, the areas to be treated can be anesthetized, making this a pain free experience.
Lips can appear to be changed in size and color. Thin or irregularly shaped eyebrows can be altered and improved, and a subtle, natural look mimicking thousands of tiny eyelashes can be obtained with micropigmentation.
