This excellent safe peel provides gradual skin improvement and correction by means of the controlled application of a Trichloroacetic Acid solution. Depending on the condition requiring correction, more than one peel may be needed. This method is preferred over a deeper peel because there is less risk of scarring, dyspigmentation (increased or decreased skin coloration), or permanent skin textural changes. Prepeel skin conditioning with the NuDerm system is mandatory prior to this peel, and continued use of the NuDerm system will prolong the peel's longevity. If more than one peel is required, they are spaced six to eight weeks apart.
